John Lennon Gets the Comic Book Treatment

By  |

On the final day of New York Comic Con, IDW Publishing announced a new graphic novel featuring one of the greatest musicians of all time. Lennon will be a comic book biography based on the life of John Lennon of the Beatles covering various events of his life.

The new book adapts the 2010 novel by French author and screenwriter David Foenkinos, which retold the former Beatle’s story through the framework of transcriptions of sessions between Lennon and an imaginary therapist. The story travels through Lennon’s entire life, from childhood, worldwide fame and his solo career and marriage to artist Yoko Ono.

It’s going to hit stores in May 2017.
