Hayley Atwell Returning to Peggy Carter, but Not in the Way You Might Think

By  |

It was announced at New York Comic Con that Haley Atwell will reprise her role as Agent Carter. Instead of the live action movies, she will voice Carter in season four of Marvel’s Avengers: Secret Wars (AKA Avengers Assemble or Avengers: Ultron Revolution. Seriously, I’ve never seen a show go through so many name changes except for Marvel’s Ultimate Spider-Man). Even though ABC cancelled Agent Carter after two seasons, Miss Atwell expressed to CBR that she would love to return to the character, “The great thing about Peggy is she lives a long life. I’m banking on being in my 50s and going, ‘Let’s see what Peggy’s up to.”

Originally titled “Avengers Assemble,” the animated Avengers series was renamed “Avengers: Ultron Revolution” for Season 3 As revealed at Comic-Con International this summer, the upcoming fourth season will be retitled “Avengers: Secret Wars” and will introduce fan-favorite Marvel heroes like Black Panther, Ant-Man and more.

Though, I must correct CBR here. Ant-Man is already in the show and on the Avengers roster.

Hope set out into the world to be a Pokemon Coordinator. When she realized that Pokemon were not real, she pursued her other passion: writing. Hope was raised in fandoms and saw how they can help save the world from her work with The Harry Potter Alliance. Now, she works to bring that love into writing one article at a time. She's also a diehard Atlanta Braves fan, so don't diss her team.
