Tina Fey & Amy Poehler to Co-Host Saturday Night Live's Christmas Show Dec. 19

By  |

Attention comedy fans, set your TV schedule for December 19, 2015: that’s when Amy Poehler and Tina Fey will co-host Saturday Night Live. The show is SNL’s last of 2015 and usually features the traditional post-show skate around at 30 Rock. The musical guest is Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, ensuring it will be virtually impossible to get a ticket.

Although Fey has returned to Studio 8H as host four times since leaving the show in 2006, Poehler has only hosted once since she left the show in 2008. Of course Amy was tied up in Los Angeles with a little show called Parks & Recreation for much of the last seven years.

We’re excited to see how Fey and Poehler work with this young cast, which has certainly gelled this season. SNL’s ladies are incredibly funny and talented, while 21 year old Pete Davidson has displayed the energy and likability of a young Jimmy Fallon.

SNL’s Christmas shows are often instant classic and we are betting that this one will be too.

Are you excited for this? Who do you want to host? Let us know in the comments!
