Zoom into Netflix in October with The Flash, Jane the Virgin, iZombie and More
It’s all about the CW on Netflix this October, as the first seasons of The Flash (October 6), Jane the Virgin (October 12), and iZombie (October 6) are ready for your binge watch.
Elsewhere on Neflix:
Christopher Nolan’s 2005 movie Batman Begins is available now.
Winter on Fire (2015), a Netflix original documentary about the 2014 revolution that ousted Ukrainian president Viktor Yanukovych, is available October 9.
Since wrapping How I Met Your Mother, Colbie Smulders has divided her time between Marvel-related projects and indy passion projects, including Results, which finds her as a fitness instructor whose wealthy client, Danny (Kevin Corrigan), is a total hot mess.
The two meet a guru played by Guy Pearce and hopefully comedy ensues. (October 22)
Boogie Nights was Mark Wahlberg‘s movie debut (and perhaps the last time he was watchable). Paul Thomas Anderson‘s look at the 1970s porn industry is filled with amazing performances by Julianne Moore, Philip Seymour Hoffman, John C. Reilly and Burt Reynolds. (October 1)
Property Virgins (Collection 1). That’s right, Sandra Rinomato fans, HGTV shows keep slowly making their way to Netflix.
Watch as Property Virgins say they deserve their dream home rather than a starter home, and laugh along with Sandra when they declare they shouldn’t have to compromise anything on their 17-page checklist. (October 1)
Just in time for Halloween, it’s American Horror Story Freak Show! (October 6) Bri and me watched AHS: Murder House last October 31 (yes, all in one day) and our lives have never been the same. (October 6)
1949’s On The Town, starring Gene Kelly and Frank Sinatra as fun-loving sailors, comes into port on October 1.
I’m sure there’s Frozen in this – Walt Disney Animation Studios Short Films Collection (2015) (October 25)
Julia Roberts and Meryl Streep yell at each other in August: Osage County (2013) (October 27)
It’s telenovela time! Flor Salvaje premiers October 7.
