Red Carpet Rundown: Orange is the New Black at the 2015 Emmy Awards
The ladies of Orange is the New Black may not have taken the top prize at last night’s Primetime Emmy Awards, but they took over the red carpet with fashion in full force!
Black is the New Black
Kate often channels Katherine Hepburn (she’s even performed a one-woman show dedicated to her) but here she’s pulling off Audrey Hepburn circa Breakfast at Tiffany’s. And it’s Red hot.
Neckline up she looks amazing — great hair, great make-up, love the earrings, that smile is to die for. I’d like the dress more if the straps weren’t off the shoulder and the fringe was shorter.
I bet this dress is stunning up close. It’s quite lovely from here. Kinda wish she had a long string of pearls.
This looks uncomfortable to move in. If it was pants I’d be all over it but as is, not so much. Also, do we just not wear necklaces anymore?
She’s basically a vampire.
Yellow is the New Black
This angle shows off her tattoo. And the flirty movement of the skirt.
It’s a formal sundress but a very pretty one and I love the styling.
Again: flirty movement! There is a real romance to this skirt.
Well, she’s wearing a necklace and I want it gone so clearly there is no pleasing me. I hate the shoes and I don’t know how this is staying on. But she looks like a superhero!
Danielle loved her skirt’s flirty movement MOST OF ALL.
She looks amazing. She had so much fun with this dress and it never once looked like it was cutting off her breath or might fall off at any moment. And the colors are so playful! A+
Blue is the New Black
Vee is dressed as Elsa and it makes me GRIN.
The fit is off? But it’s got drama.
Red is the New Black
She is dressed like a very stylish lamp. But she’s pulling it off?
This photo looks straight out of a fighter game and if you don’t love that we can’t be friends.
I think this fabric would make a better bedspread than Emmy gown.
Pink is the New Black
Nothing special about the dress but with this hair she looks like Juliet!
I want her to twirl around like Danielle! I like this a lot — minimalist princess with the hint of an edge is my aesthetic.
So I am in the process of painting my ceiling and it is literally the color of the dark blue splatter here. The more I look at it, the more I like it (Uzo’s dress, not my ceiling) but it took some getting used to.
This is perfect, though.
