The Pokemon Company released the trailer for a new mobile game called Pokemon Go coming out in 2016. Not a lot of details or game play was shown. We don’t have a release date.

None of that mattered. I was crying by the end of it.

Since I was ten, I’ve loved Pokemon. I grew up with it. I ran around my front yard chasing invisible little monsters to become a master. I played with my friends in high school, college, and now well into my 20’s. I’ve been playing Pokemon Shuffle every night for months now. I still watch the show every Saturday morning. Heck! Scroll down to the bottom of this post! I literally said in my bio that I wanted to be a Pokemon Coordinator when I grew up!

Now if this trailer for Pokemon Go really is what it looks like, I can play Pokemon in the real world. I can drive to Atlanta and hunt those little buggers in Centennial Olympic Park. I can go to my friend’s apartment to do battle in the parking lot. I can truly be a real life Pokemon trainer.

My lifelong dream has finally come true.
